Dear One,

Something quite marvellous has been happening . When I first starting  writing my love letters, I sent them to my Pathwork Students,

After awhile my students started sending these letters to their friends. When Pat (Emmanuel's channel) crossed over, more students began asking me about the Pathwork, and Emmanuel's teachings.

I have now decided that I will start this letter with the beginning of the Story. I will send you a bedtime story from Emmanuel.

For me, it is the basis of his teachings. The story is simple. The story is loving, and it is the heart of my teachings.

    Remember who you are.

Remember that you are created in G-d's  image.

Remember that you chose to enter into the human plane to "bring love where love is not"

Remember that falling in love with yourself is the first step.

Will you take a moment and breathe.  Let us visualize that all of us are sitting in a circle....holding hands around the world, connecting with each other in love, in peace, and in thanksgiving as we hear this story from Emmanuel.

"Your entire lives are bedtime stories. If you would but gently tell yourselves as you go to bed at night.......

Once upon a no time, there was this wondrous being of light floating in the heavens in perfect bliss when he heard the call of love.  The heart within this being knew when love calls, love must be answered. So that "being" left the wonder of the oneness, the sweetness and the light, and came one more time to visit this schoolroom of illusion and duality.

Within this schoolroom there has always been a great many struggles, because upon entry, the Being of Light forgets that "he" is the light of the world. In this forgetting, he spends many years trying to find a safe space. That is what all of you have been doing, trying to find someone who will make you feel safe. Regardless of what the mind tells you it has been doing, your sweet heart that came in the name of love, has been looking (outside of himself) for a safe place to begin the loving that it is.

Fear has taught you to say "NO", it is not safe here. "NO" it is not safe there. You believe that you must transform and change everyone else, and only then will you be safe. "  Perhaps I will be safe when this happens, and only then can I begin to believe and trust in my own  loving."

It is the child's thought that says: "If I am myself, if I am really my loving self, I will be in danger. So I will keep myself back, and I will keep myself small, and I will keep myself hidden, until I know some great thing will happen, some great light will come, some miracle will transform the world, and I will be safe to open my heart."

Well my dear, the miracle is here. It is you. Each one of you has the power to transform your lives miraculously by choosing love. I do not mean the love of others, nor the behavior of love,  but self love.

Rather than regard yourselves with criticism as you have been taught to do , find one thing that you love and admire in yourselves every day, just one thing. It does not have to be vast or earth shattering. Just one thing, and write it down. Choose something as simple as "I like the way I laugh, or I like how I smile at strangers.  Whatever it is write it down.

Begin to be aware of the unconscious negativity with which you regard yourselves, and make the choice not to do it any longer. Self denial and self judgment is not a noble act. It serves nothing at all except to keep yourselves hopeless, to make yourselves ill, and too keep you in the forgetting.

SELF CASTIGATION IS NOT HOLY WORK.

There are only three things you need to do:
           Fall in love with yourself,

                           Fall in love with yourself,

                                             Fall in love with yourself.

Sweet Dreams,

Emmanuel

I wish you the willingness to remember who you are. In this remembering please take a moment of silence and sit in the "Thanksgiving" for the wonder of who you are.

My love and prayers for a Happy Thanskgivng Holiday,

Barbara
